THE PLAYLIST PAGE AND A RECOMMENDATION

As you realize that page is devoted to the playlists of both SUNDAY SIMCHA & TRADITIONS. If you will go to it you will find the Playlists for SUNDAY SIMCHA for this week along with some comments about why this particular program and also about Woodstock and the 40th (I wonder why 40 is so important---as opposed to 25/50/75 etc:) commemoration. There was another event that same weekend. Check that page to find out about it. In addition---in about 2 weeks I will be profiling the man who was influential in American Television, The King of Yiddish Music, and also a Dutch hero---in the sense of his involvement with the Dutch Government in exile during the WW2 years---Leo Fuld.

Any opinions of what you think of the amazing celebration and the reasons for Woodstock are welcome.

Don't forget to stay tuned each Thursday for "NOBODY ASKED ME BUT..." and also to both TRADITIONS AND SUNDAY SIMCHA for some interesting and surprising moments in music and musical history and also the latest in the genres that are featured on both programs.

The programs are now archived for two weeks on the website http://www.wfdu.fm/ as well as some bios of our most "illustrious" hosts. You have to see--as they say---to believe.

A picture of the reason for the mention of the alternate concert in NYC on the Woodstock Weekend.
